These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all interior design services provided by Kaza Interiors (“we”, “our”, “us”). By engaging our services, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
We provide interior design services including consultations, design concepts, drawings, sourcing, procurement, project coordination, and styling.
A detailed scope of work will be outlined in your proposal or design agreement.
2. Fees, Payments & Deposits

Fees are outlined in your proposal and may include fixed fees, hourly rates, or product mark‑ups.

A non‑refundable deposit may be required to secure your project.

Invoices must be paid within the stated payment terms.

Work may be paused if payments are overdue.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate information, measurements, and access to the property as required

Ensure the property is safe, structurally sound, and ready for works

Secure pets, valuables, and personal items before works begin
-
Obtain any necessary planning permissions or approvals (unless otherwise agreed)
4. Access to Property
The Client must ensure:

Safe, uninterrupted access to the property for Kaza Interiors and any contractors
-
Parking availability where possible
-
That the working environment is free from hazards
If access is restricted or unsafe, we may reschedule or pause works, and additional charges may apply.
5. Contractors & Third Parties
We may recommend contractors, tradespeople, or suppliers.
However:

Contractors are engaged directly by the Client, unless otherwise stated

We are not responsible for the workmanship, performance, or conduct of third‑party contractors
-
Any issues with contractors must be addressed directly with them
We may coordinate contractors as part of our service, but this does not create liability for their work.
6. Product Sourcing & Lead Times

Product availability, lead times, and delivery dates are estimates only
-
We are not liable for delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, couriers, or customs
-
Colour, texture, and material variations may occur due to manufacturing processes
-
The Client is responsible for checking that products fit through doors, hallways, and staircases unless we have measured this as part of the service
7. Changes, Delays & Cancellations
If the Client requests changes after work has begun:

Additional fees may apply

Timelines may be extended
We are not liable for delays caused by:

Contractor availability
-
Supplier issues
-
Weather conditions
-
Access restrictions
-
Client‑initiated changes
If the Client cancels the project, fees for completed work and committed orders remain payable.
8. Liability During Works (Strong Protection Clause)
8.1 General Liability
Kaza Interiors will take reasonable care when working in your home.
However, we are not liable for:

Pre‑existing structural issues, defects, or weaknesses

Damage caused by contractors engaged directly by the Client

Wear, tear, or deterioration of existing fixtures
-
Accidental damage caused by moving Client‑owned items unless due to our negligence
8.2 Client‑Owned Items
The Client must remove or protect:

Artwork
-
Breakables
-
Electronics
-
Sentimental or irreplaceable items
We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.
8.3 Site Conditions
We are not liable for:

Delays or damage caused by unsafe or unsuitable site conditions

Mould, damp, leaks, or structural movement discovered during works
-
Electrical, plumbing, or structural issues uncovered during installation
If such issues arise, works may be paused until the Client arranges repairs.
8.4 Contractor Work
We are not liable for:

Damage, delays, or defects caused by contractors
-
Installation errors
-
Workmanship issues
-
Contractor accidents or injuries
Contractors are responsible for their own insurance and compliance with safety regulations.
9. Photography & Marketing
We may photograph the project before, during, and after completion.
These images may be used:

On our website
-
On social media
-
In marketing materials
-
In case studies or award submissions
We will not disclose your full address or identity.
If you have specific privacy concerns, please inform us before works begin.
10. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, layouts, and documents created by Kaza Interiors remain our intellectual property.
They may not be reproduced, shared, or used for other projects without written permission.
11. Warranties
We do not provide warranties on:

Products supplied by third parties

Contractor workmanship
-
Manufacturer defects
Any warranties provided by suppliers or contractors must be pursued directly with them.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for our services

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of value, or emotional distress
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or negligence resulting in personal injury.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Kaza Interiors, paying a deposit, or approving a proposal, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
